A home in Epsom fitted with a 9 kWh Sigenergy SigenStor battery, so cheaper or self-generated electricity can be stored and used later in the day.
The brief
The household wanted to make better use of cheaper overnight electricity and lean less on the grid at the expensive times of day. They were not ready to add solar panels yet, but wanted a battery that could take them later without starting again.
The system
A 9 kWh Sigenergy SigenStor battery, designed, installed and commissioned by our own team. SigenStor is modular, so more capacity can be stacked on, and solar panels can be connected to the same system when the household is ready.
How we installed it
We surveyed the house, agreed the position with the household and planned the cable routes before the day. The battery was fitted, connected and commissioned in one visit, and we set up the Sigenergy app so the household can see when the battery charges and when the house runs from it.
The result
The battery charges on the cheaper overnight rate and covers the house through the day. The household’s figures will follow here once they have a full season of data.
