Who we are

Bespoke Renewables Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17311667, with our registered office at 46 High Street, Stock, Essex CM4 9BW. What we collect

When you send an enquiry through a form on this site, we collect:

your name, email address, phone number and postcode
the work you are interested in
any optional answers you give about your property, your timescale, your electricity bill, any existing solar or battery, and how you heard about us
anything you write in the message box
if you fill in one of our pre-quote checklists, the details you choose to give about your property, your energy use and the work you want, so we can size a system before we visit
if you are a customer and fill in our feedback form, your answers and comments about our work

If you phone or email us directly, we keep what you tell us in the same way. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, bank or card details through this site.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey, design a system and send you a quote. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to do this before entering into a contract with us, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our work. If you become a customer, we use your details to carry out the contract and to meet our legal obligations, such as keeping tax and warranty records.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell them.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and our email. They process your data only on our instructions.

Web3Forms receives your form submission and emails it to us. It keeps a copy of submissions in our account.
Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, its servers record technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Microsoft 365 runs our email, where your enquiry arrives.
Supabase hosts our job management system. Answers from the pre-quote checklists and the feedback form go straight into it, so the right person in our team can pick them up.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to a project, we delete your details within 12 months of our last contact with you. If you become a customer, we keep your records for as long as the warranty on the work and our legal obligations require, and at least six years after the work is finished for tax purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to have it passed to you in a portable form. To use any of these rights, email us at info@bespoke-renewables.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
